Honey Egg Cake
Honey Egg Cake
Batter
2 eggs
5 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup whole milk
1 cup white flour
2 tablespoon of melted butter
2 tablespoon of heavy cream
2 tablespoons of honey for finishing.
Combine all the batter ingredients into a large bowl.
Mix until smooth.
Add butter to the bottom of a large glass container to prevent cake from sticking.
Add batter to the glass container then bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
After baking, transfer cake to a large plate and brush the cake with honey.
To improve the aesthetics, the edges of the cake can be cut away.
I have no talent for baking, so this is probably one of the few cake recipes I'll have on this site. I do a lot of science experiments that require careful timing and measuring of reagents, and I guess when I'm cooking and enjoying myself, I like to step away from the meticulous mindset needed for experiments. This is probably why I'm not a huge fan of baking.
