Chives with Squid
Chives
Frozen squid
Sauce (equal parts of each ingredient, about 1 tablespoon):
Soy sauce
Rice wine
Sugar
(Replace soy sauce and rice wine with just salt if you prefer a drier dish with less soggy chives)
Finish with:
Sesame oil
Boil squid for 2 minutes to cook. This will also pull some moisture from the squid so that the dish doesn't become too soggy.
Heat up cooking oil in a pan.
Cook chives until slightly browned.
Add squid and sauce/seasoning, then stir fry for 2 minutes.
Turn off the heat and add sesame oil to taste.
