Braised Quail Eggs
Braised Quail Eggs
15 oz can of cooked quail eggs in water. Drain the water.
1 stalk of green onions.
4 Tbsp soy sauce.
2 Tbsp of rice wine.
2 Tbsp brown sugar.
1 cup water.
You can also add some slices of ginger if you like the taste of ginger.
Add ingredients into pot and boil at medium heat for 15 minutes.
Let the pot cool, transfer to a separate container, and then let it marinate overnight in the refigerator.
When I started medical school, I also started watching K-dramas and saw a lot of Korean dishes. Braised quail eggs appeared a lot in the dramas I watched, so I decided to try making it myself. It's such an easy and tasty recipe, and I'm always reminded of K-dramas and the start of medical school when I eat this dish.
