Perfect Pan Fried Egg
Perfect Pan Fried Egg
Egg: 2 eggs
Seasoning: whatever you want. I grew up adding hondashi powder to the eggs. Salt is also fine. You can also just don’t add any seasoning.
Cooking oil: 2 tbs
Heat up a pan with cooking oil.
Crack and place eggs into a hot pan.
Place lid onto the pan and adjust heat down to medium.
Let the eggs cook for 30 seconds.
Plate the eggs and add seasoning.
For a long time, the pan fried eggs I made were very inconsistent. Sometimes the yolk was overcooked, other times the white were too runny. As a result, I wanted to come up with a recipe that I could use to consistently cook the perfect pan fried egg, which in my opinion is a runny yolk with completely cooked white. I liked this recipe because it is very easy, it doesn’t even require flipping the egg because the lid will cause steam to build up and cook the white even without flipping.
