Egg Fried Rice
Egg Fried Rice
Makes 1 large bowl
3 bulbs of green onions
2 eggs
Leftover rice, ideally refrigerated overnight: 2 cups
Garlic puree (or garlic powder): 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce: To taste
Cooking oil: To taste
In a pan, heat up cooking oil
Add in garlic and fry it for 30 seconds
Add rice on top of the garlic and press the rice into the garlic
Stir fry the rice with garlic and then move it to side of the pan
On the empty side of the pan, make scrambled eggs
Add soy sauce to the edge of the pan (soy sauce should directly contact pan so that it is slightly charred and becomes more aromatic)
Add green onions
Stir fry
Serve and enjoy
Add some oil to the bottom of the bowl to prevent sticking.
